We are Bethany and Paul. We created Radio Chatter to bridge the gap between miles of pavement and the meaningful connections that happen on the trail.

The idea was born during a trip with Mountain State Overland. We noticed that the most memorable trips weren't just about the rigs or the scenery; they were about the quality of the conversation over the GMRS radios. However, we also recognized the "down time" during long transit stages where groups (often consisting of people who have never met) sit in silence in their respective vehicles.

We asked a simple question: How can we use that time to build actual friendships?

To find the answer, we developed 200 questions and put them to the test across multiple expeditions. We narrowed that list down to the 52 most engaging, adventure-themed prompts that now make up the Radio Chatter OG Game. With the help of designer John Robeson, we turned a trail necessity into a tool for community.
